Got nipped at the wire by the favorite, Could of been worse.. $3.60 to place.

I almost never bet to place. Have you read Mark Cramer's "11 Winning Exacta Situations"?

Your right about betting to place, I almost never do either but I did in this one because I was a little scaired of the chaulk...

No, actually I've never read that one. Is it worth a read?

Yes, Mark Cramer is one of the sharpest guys out there and the book has some great ideas about different exacta situations and how to bet them. Fits well with db information that isn't available to everyone. I bought a copy from Cynthia publications.
