Anyone with a fv formula that could show
the difference for example: (2nd by 5 lengths and 1st by 5 lengths, both position's beaten lenghts have same value, when using the beaten lengths variable)
I would like to show the correct difference of lengths between any calls including a 1 position
I am tring to implement the smooth - or smooth +
of lawrence voegeles method

Hi,

Try this: $ppBtnLengths1 * abs($ppCall1>1)

If the horse is leading then the return value is Zero else for horses not leading the beaten lengths are returned.

Just change the variable as needed for each call ie: $ppBtnLengths2 * abs($ppCall2>1)

Thanks Holding Pattern!

ABS being a function, what other functions would be available to use on FV? - or where would I get these groups of functions?
Thanks again for your formula for beaten lengths.

in FV

Hi,

Try something like this:
ROUND(#COLVAL("test"),2)
