When I am using certain pp templates I have created, there are sometimes over 30 columns of pp info. Is there a way to set the number of pp columns you want? Example: I do a $ppE2 but only want to see the best 10. Freddy

Freddy, Are you sure you are talking about columns, and not rows?

Nathan: You are correct-I mean rows! Freddy

Nathan: Speaking of columns. You can get 11 columns visable in FV without having to scroll across the page. Also when you print out the page 11 columns prints on the first page and then it prints a second page.. etc, for the rest of the columns. I know this is small stuff, but just wondering if in the future this could be printed on one page and or may be even seen on one page in the FV. Mitch

Try shrinking the width of some columns (see FV docs for how to do it - just like changing the size of any window) and see what happens. However, column widths, once adjusted will "snap back" to default if you add any new columns to the template. Lou

I believe you can adjust width and then 'save layout' to keep them the new width. Freddy

Freddy, Other than specifying filters that disallow certain types of past performances to be displayed, there's no way to limit the number of rows that are output.

Mitch, Use the mouse to shrink the size of the cols. Save Layout does what it says. In regards to printing, the printing is handled entirely by the control that does the spreadsheet drawing. There are some options to it - I'll see if there's one to "shrink to fit", but I can't garauntee anything.

Whoops! - I stand corrected. Can't remember if I saved layout the last time I tried adjusting rows but thanks for the info. I'll do it that way...
