I hate to sound stupid but I can not get a grip on the formulas used, such as $ppE2 * #LESSER(($ppBtnLengths2 * #LESSER(1.1, $ppCall2)), 5.1) * #GREATER(#EQUAL("ppTurfB", "rrTurfB", .00001) + #GREATER("rrTurfB","ppTurfB"),0) * #EQUAL(#GREATER("ppDistFurs", 7.9), #GREATER("rrDistFurs", 7.9), .00001 Is anyone able to give me a explination on what I am looking at.

This is what I think : Returns value of PPE2 IF Beaten lengths at second call are 5 or less lengths AND Today's race is on the same surface AND Structure (Sprint and Routes)This message has been edited. Last edited by: Holding Pattern,

Thanks HP I still do not get it, but I may have to possibly review formula creating in the database format. I suppose I can can create extra columns in FV and make the formulas in excel. Also I have forgotten or just never knew what I am suppose to enter in the FV catagories that have a (?) after them. I have a good thing going using stuff that start with the $ sign, but get lost after that. I am exporting to excel and then to a graph program in excel with about 90 variables that give me ROI and WPS Percent using upper and lower variables. I am only using about 40% of the graph. There is so much or little that can be put into it and it is so variable it is a shame to waste all the unused space. I can put up to 65000 lines in it. It can be done by Tracks, Races, Trainers, Distance, Age, Male, Female etc. Or all tracks and info combined. It also works on the 2007 version of excel with a little modifacation. One button gives all the info after I import it from the excel import program where any and all info can be modified. I have it set up now for export to a excel program I made ( with help from hcap) and a one button click to the graph to be analisyed. So if I had a clue to what I was doing I could use all of EQ6 and we could all make a buck. I have a 30% hit rate with the average payoff of 10.75This message has been edited. Hammer, That formula is one of the columns used as part of determining the Fulcrum horse (Pizzola) If you have Pizzolas handicapping magic book, look at the fulcrum chapter and that should help with your understanding.
