My inlaws were over for an evening on their way to NY. About the time I got back to work it was pretty late and there were a couple of empty bottles of French something laying about (don't worry, I didn't do any programming :->). I did check out the day's results but kept finding that, while I had downloaded (and re-downloaded) all of the results for the previous day, most cards were coming up with no results. Well, it seems like it wasn't the wine as I received this from a friend this morning: quote: I haven't checked things out yet -- anyone else seeing this? -Nathan ps - a quick look now (around 12pm est) shows that the results appear to be there. But, if you downloaded results last night, or perhaps early this morning, you'll probably need to download them again. Nathan, Yep, I noticed that too when I put the cursor under the date of the file. Bris/TSN and I have been around and around about this. I maintained that these files should be posted as fast as HDW or others get their results files up. Their tech/whatever? said, "no, we get to them when we get to them and it may be the next day or the day after." After several months of this I sent an e-mail to Happy Broadbent. Whoa dude! Things started happening a lot faster. He apologized and said they would establish a new procedure for compiling the results files so they would be up as fast as they could. Things improved dramatically (they had been in the habit of posting results files at about 9:00 a.m. or so, just whenever they got around to it.). I fired off an e-mail this morning when I saw the files were not complete and within about 20 minutes the files were up. I think someone just forgot to upload them. Wonder who they give this job to? Probably another relative of the Broadbent's or some guy they plucked out of the unemployment line or off a street corner holding a bucket and a sign. Oh well Bob | |||
