Hello,
What is the criteria for the default paceline selection method used in Equisim? For example, races back, off tracks, surface, distance, days away, speed rating, etc.

Pace Line Selection Rules
ST: Same Track
P: About the same purse
S: Same surface
D: Same distance, route or sprint
DT: race run within 90 days of current race
NE: Find a race that doesn't have an "excuse" in the comment line. An excuse is a typical comment such as "stopped" or "tripped" (it can be argued whether stopping is an excuse, but EquiSim treats it as one. The premise being that the horse stopped because the pace was unusually fast for it and it won't be in today's race. In any event, that's what it uses.)
