Anyone have any thoughts about if we need to dump the old Santa Anita database and start a new one because they have just installed their 4th new surface in the last 5 years?

I did that after they replaced their Pro Ride surface. I wasn't going to do it again for the "new" Fall surface, but now you have me wondering. Which way are you leaning?

That is what I plan on doing. I am sure the new dirt will be nothing like those old tracks SA has put in and taken out.

I keep individual databases for each track instead of one large one so I'm going to add the data to the old SAX database and use it for now and also create a new SAX_11 database and then begin to use it after I have about a month of data in it.

Jerry I'm like you in that I feel that the new dirt will have it's own personality.
