Folks,

Here's a question:

Would you like EquiSim to track your selections for you, much the way it tracks Profiler Abilities and the Simultion Winner (with all the same filtering capability)?

Even if this sounds nifty, ask yourself - would you use this feature -- you'd have to enter in your selections.

Best,
Nathan

YES, YES, YES.
That is exactly what I need.

Could be used for MY bets in a database.
Could be used for RESEARCH tracking in another database.
I have many uses for this.

Nathan, you make it and I will use it!

I agree, tracking ones bets is very important information. Money management is a big part of this game and tracking bets can certainly improve my ROI.

I vote yes!

However Nathan, use your own judgement in the level of priority this feature needs in the light of all you have on your plate.

I always use my judgement, it just isn't necessarily very good judgement .

I'm not sure if this feature would be a principle money management tool. I guess, by default, it could be used that way (if you wager on-line you already have a decent money management tool). I think it might allow one to get a better understanding of how well they did at a specific type of race, rather than just how well they did at, say, a particular track or maybe on the turf.

The thing is, it wouldn't be that hard to do given that the program is practically set up for it already, whereas keeping these sorts of records by hand is a monstrous amount of work.

Yes, I think this is the thing that can turn around many a game. if i'm reasing this right this would be a tool for pointing out individual strengths and weaknesses. I'll take one.

Would be good if it had a query feature. In other words, give me results of all bets on turf at Belmont this year...Amt bet, won/loss, roi etc.

My vote is yes. I kind of suggested this earlier, but maybe I wasn't clear. This to me is the core of what is really important. How users interpret the program's data, and translate it into a betting action.

A positive ROI for a factor does not always insure profitability for the future. Users need to still make decisions, and betting history is paramount.

Thanks for thinking about adding this.

I just now noticed this thread and have to say that's a feature I'd love to see. I think it would make ES the most well-rounded program out there.
