I emailed this to Nathan but would like to put it here for comments or suggestions. I'd like to see running style and Quirin points added to the master variable list. I think it might be useful for data mining for jockey abilities alone.

HP - Field 19 has the Coupled list, lists the horses name and is only populated for the race the horses are coupled in. For example, the data coupled horses for Hollywood 11/22 in race 3 was: SETSUKO and MATAMOR . Each horse for that race has the field populated, irregardless if they are coupled or not

also adding to the wishlist would be uncoupled entries: Say baffert has 2 horses in the race, from different owners , and the saddle cloths were #1 and #2. It would be nice to flag those horses as uncoupled entries..

HP - The Pace Pressure Gauge is made up of two components, pace pressure and pace velocity based on Quirin Speed Points

The first number represents pace pressure and is the Quirin Speed point total of early pace horses (E, E/P, P) with 5 or more speed points.

The second number is generated by the number of (E) horses with 5 or more speed points

The gauge output will look something like this: 24 X 1

I checked file grabberr first.
There is no text size selector in it.
The track names in all caps on the instant chart screen are fine. The lower case on other screens is small to read. All dates in bold would be a big help.
I do have a .dll edit utility that I have used to change some fonts in some programs. Maybe you can guide me to the needed files and I can see if I can change my version.

In E Sim. A font and line weight that are great is in the RAce Comments page. I keep every thing on large text and they all look good.
The other screens I also keep on large text but a lot of the fonts are weak in line strength.
The font on the In Today screen,horse name, seems to be used in most of the other screens.
When they are in bold they look good. Other wise, they have weak line strength. Again, maybe you can guide me to the file where I could change my version.

The formula view font has no text size selection. It is just plain small. Even a size increase with no bold would be a big help.

In all the screens that have drop down menus if the text were bolded that would be a big help.The size is small also.

I do understand I am most likely a small minority in your owner list and do not hold out any large hopes of change. That is why I mentioned my utility that I have used on some programs. If I can find the .dll file I can usually fix the dialogue boxes. I have not figured out how to fix the drop down menu fonts a lot of the dialogue box's use.

I like the pace pressure guage idea. I'll one up it -- make it so that ES calculates a pace pressure figure. Then allow it to be tracked in the DB, and compared against other performance factors.

For example, how well does the simulation winner do when the pace pressure index is greater than Y. It's on the list.

Wow! Equism V6, that's the best news I've heard in a long time! Y'all have made lots of wonderful suggestions & it sounds like Nathan is working on most of them; that's pretty amazing in itself! One small thing I would like to add to the wish list, if I may: In FV, could I have the option of making column 1 whatever I wish it to be?

Hi Fujimi-cho,

Hope I understand your request correctly. If so, are you aware that you can drag the ES default column to the left and effectively erase it?

E.g....with a Horse FV, you can drag the Horse column to the left and then click "save layout". You will then see what ever you want (FV variable) in the far left column.
