This FAQ may anser these issues:

  • My computer crashes when I run simulations (your video card driver is buggy).
  • I like the simulation charts, but I don't like watching the simulations -- what can I do?
  • My computer doesn't have much RAM -- what can I do?

First -- there is a command called "Run All Simulations" in the Simulation Menu. It does what you would expect, without you needing to watch the simulations.

Version 3.5 of EquiSim allows you to bypass initialization of the 3D Graphics subsystem.
When you use this option, you will be unable to view simulations. However, using it will:
A) Reduce RAM memory usage
B) Prevent program crashes that are the result of video card driver problems.
C) Speed the time it takes to open race cards (especially the first card opened).
