Nathan, I am having a problem with the "other" type bets in the wager/selections part of ES.
I entered these pick-3's 3 times for Churchill and the cost is computed on the wager/selections sheet, but when stored to the database the cost is not saved and returns to zero. I have been placing a checkmark in the database section to store wagers only, but this doesn't seem to help. So when I check the wager report the "other" bets show up as a zero balance or it may only show the last pick 3 entered. There should have been $80.00 total "other" bets. I have tried to enter these bets different ways, but to no success.
I realize that you are trying to release ES 4. This is a minor problem and may be fixed later, hopefully I won'`t being spending possible profits on pick 3's, as i did yesterday. thanks,

And these are important things, so I appreciate you bringing them to my attention. Still finding time to look into the other prob. you mentioned re: not being able to de-select entries.

This problem seems to specific to an individual race. Changing the selections works fine most of the time, but there have been a few races per day. This may make it a litte tougher to catch this critter. Thanks,

I think I caught it. Had to do with any horse that was selected in a spot, and then later scratched (via results loading or scratching manually). You can test it out by selecting a horse, then manually scratching it. You'll note that you can select it and change, but the change does not "take" -- until you re-open the card and find that the changes you made did actually take....

The way it works now (in the next build):
A) Make a selection.

B) That selection scratches. The next time you view the selections and awagers screen you will see the selection that scratched highlighted in RED (this is new). Note - This horse will NOT be sotred to DB for analysis (never was), because it was a scratch. Its kept there so you can see that the selection scratched if you made them Prior to scratches being available via the results file.

C) Now if you want to change the scratched selection click it. The combo will appear and it will be set to the "*No Selection*" entry.

Damn Nathan...you'd make an Orkin man proud!!
