I bet 20 to win on Continuously on Saturday's 8th race at Hollywood Park he won and paid 14.40. My problem is I entered this wager before adding the results, but it shows under the ticket heading NB>5 and does not show the 144.00 increase to my wagers. The 1A was DQ in this race from 1st to 3rd. The wager sheet does show Continuously winning the race, but does not calculate the payout.
Also, yesterday at Aqueduct I tried to change some of the selections, because of the scratches that occurred. I could not remove some of the horses in some of the races, nor could I change the selections that I had made. I did this same thing at Churchill and everything worked fine.

The problem had to do with the DQ of the 1A (gotta love it when the DQ goes your way....).

So I've fixed the problem as I saw it and put build 4.0.0.21 up where you can get at it.

To fix the wager (I'm ASSUMING THAT YOU'VE ALREADY STORED THIS CARD'S RACES TO DB):

A) Get the new build and install it.
B) Open that HOL card. Check the Selections screen to make sure that the wager looks ok.
C) Go to the Profiler Database menu and select "Update Wager Data Only"
D) Then use the store to database command. This will just update the wager stuff you made.
E) No go back and turn OFF the "Update Wager Data Only" option.


Now, regarding the inability to change some of the selections. COuld you give me a specific example to check out?

Nathan, I played an $3 exacta box 4+8 at Hollywood Park's 8th race on Saturday. The wager sheet computed this return as $70.65. This computation = 15.70 x 4.5. The actual payout for a $1.00 exacta was $15.70, this ticket should be computed as $47.10. I entered this exacta as a $3.00 4+8/4+8, the computed cost of the ticket was correct($6.00).
I had another $3.00 exacta last week that incorrectly computed, but it somehow was corrected through the week. Because of this one, I thought it may be a bad results file and I had downloaded a new results file and this may have corrected it. But I'm not sure that I had done this? Thanks

A) Are you sure it was Saturday's 8th race? That's the same one that had Continuously winning it (5 horse) so the 4+8 exacta couldn't be a winner. Give me a heads up here if you can.

B) Wondering if it has something to do with payout increments. Is bris/tsn still reporting payouts differently for each track - some on a $2 payout, others on a $1 -- or have they standardized like as was rumored a few months back. Note also the "payouts" table added to version 4.0 that will let you specify what the payout units are for a particular track (in case they change).

I think I have the info I need.

After looking into it - it seems it does not like the structure:
4+8/4+8

To take the 8th on Sat at HOl, the exacta
5/6 was a 22.70 ONE $ return. ES shows handles this correclty. However, it halves the return on a 5+6/5+6 (11.35), which is obviously an error.

Nathan, sorry this should be Sunday's 8th Race.

Also, the selections I was having trouble with was in Sunday' Aqueduct races #2 + 6. My original selections for race 2 were the 10-15-7-6-3, listed as the w, p, s, 4th, 5th pick. The 15 and 3 were scratched. I wanted to change these selections after the scracthes to the 10-7-6-11. I tried to change the p, s, 4th and 5th picks to "no selection" and then to correct them. I could not remove the 15 and the 3 at all. Once I managed to get the 15 changed to the 7, but if I left ES and came back to this report the 15 would be back on the report. In race 6, the 7 was scratched, but I could not remove it as my 4th pick.
I made these same type of changes to races 3, 4, 6 and all the scratches for the CDX card on Sunday and had no problems. Thanks
I will check the payout table.

I installed build 4.0.0.21 and this corrected the wager on Continuously. I had been debating if entering the wager as 4+8/4+8 was maybe causing the problem. Thanks for your quick response.

Thanks Floyd. No need to check the payouts table. I found the cause of the problem and have fixed it.

But also found a problem with:
A) the way that ENTRIES were handled. Plug in a winning Trifecta in that HOL 8th race on Sat and you'll see that it won't get picked up as a win beause the 1A came in third. OOOPS.

B) Superfectas are not being handled at all.

So, gotta fix those things now too.

Nathan, I changed the exacta 4+8/4+8 to two separate entries 4/8 and 8/4. This produced the correct payout of 47.10. thanks
