when making a change while doing handicapping
in the profile ,if I make any change to the
control I get a flag asking {please enter an integer between 1-65536] .I click ok and thing
seem to keep working. we where working with fgx
12/04/03 tsn procaps pp. checked out aqu and crc
same thing. don"t know if its anything to be concerned about od not .

Ron -- I need a little bit more info about the situation.

Which field you are changing? You said "any change", but the error in question is specific to a particular field. Do ANY of the values look out of range in your controls (any values less than 1 or greater than 65536 that clearly shouldn't be)?

One thing that might cause this - perhaps one of your defaults got messed up so that a bogus (out of range) value is getting assigned to new races? So when you bring up the controls, it has a bogus value in one of the fields (which one? take a look and see if you can spot a funky number). As soon as you make any change all of the fields are validated, and the bogus value causes the message to appear.

nathan sorry I took so long to get back.

we been having fun with 4.22 .I am now covienced that we have some bugs in the computor
. working with aqu, aqu only db. the profiler
control started the same message. thats when in
the max # of races window on the control [with
that check off ,to have 100 in the spot] -31073
shows up in that window. now nothing works. the
same message kept coming up whatever I tryed to
do ,.NO controls worked .tryed to close eq, same message please enter an intrger between 1-65536. kept tring , EQ crashed . shut down the computor ,rebooted . checked all my dbs ,just now ran all the cards back thew EQ ,into the same dbs as before, that started all this. all works fine.!!??? I will keep working away, if anything happens ,will let you know. sorry for
the problems . ron
